Free Verse On Love

somber seems the 
heavens when compared 
to the illumination we bring 
they say the heavens hide 
from the brilliance of our love 
I say they do not 
they ignite shining brighter 
from the splendor of it 
new stars and galaxies 
are born as the sun grows 
more fevered from the 
magnitude of our heat 
our love transcends all 
the heavens rejoice 
from our intensity as they 
expand from a love never 
seen before, heat never 
before felt in any lifetime 
all celestial bodies 
celebrate the atmospheric
phenomenon we 
give birth to by 
bringing a new radiance
to those old stars all from 
a love that infects 
all that it touches
