Forgiving Betrayal
When I spoke absolution, mercy upon another, when absolving her of errors.
My soul was weightless, ascending through the air, a peace within me.
The path leading me here was not without toils, or bleak descensions.
Yet this jubilee I have gained emitted a rapturous glow through my fleece.
My soul's corpse once more began its meter; flitting to a lost rhythm of life.
Woke to a world with colors brushed by a pallet forged of the hearts benevolence.
