Forgiveness

Forgiveness
I forgive you, for all that you did to me.
The horrors that you put me through,
the lies you told me to tell.
The scars you made all over my body
they are still there to remind me of my hell.
I still have nightmares of you and mama
beating me every day and the chains
you locked me up with, still haunt me everyday.
I learned that hating you would not heal my soul.
So I give my life to Jesus and he said to forgive you
for the pain you put me through, because he to knows
the pain of every child who has called upon him,
and he will take away the hurt and the pain that
we carry with us.
He promises that if we trust and obey he will
never leave us or forsake us in any ugly day.
I promise to forgive all that you have done
because Jesus is the son.
I forgive you ...
