Forgiveness

Forgiveness is not a feeling It’s not a feeling but a choice It’s a gift I am withholding It’s a choice that has lost its voice The emotional hurt I bear Cuts deep into my bleeding heart Is there forgiveness anywhere? I’m hurting from a deadly dart Lord Jesus, help me to forgive To pardon those who have wronged me Let me, Your strength and grace, receive That I may show others mercy

I used to struggle with forgiveness for years , the only person who really suffered was me. Life is so much easier when you can forgive and let it go. X

Yes, we can forgive because God first forgave us in Christ. Only He can help us to truly forgive from the heart.

It is difficult, that's why we need to remember what the Lord taught us in His prayer:) we need His strength in every step of our life, Joanne:)

Yes, we truly need Christ in every step of our life. Head knowledge needs to become heart knowledge. A deeper understanding that touches the heart is only something that God can give.
