Forgiveness
When you look at me this is what I see
No confidence no way you could be interested
No chance in hell for a connection
No way I could see myself with you
This trauma holds on so strong
The memories of my younger days
Come back
No way such beauty could mingle with such ugliness
The skies are gray all the time
When there is a little ray of sunshine in my life I back away
It's hard to breath When we speak
It's hard to look past all the flaws I see within me
I had no chance at love even though I fell head over heels
This pain is something real this wall no one has ever tore down
In your eyes I see within me weakness and trust issues
I see no future only past mistakes
To move on would take more strength then I think I have
But in the end what matters to me is what I see in me is what those eyes don't see in me yet. FORGIVENESS.
