Forgiveness

You, a dear friend, a close friendship
It seems forever, like kinship.

When your help I truly needed
My words of help went unheeded

You hurt me when you stayed away
When I was sick. Why, I did pray.

Those that you care about hurts more.
Forgive or it cuts to the core.

Resentment and anger outward,
Embrace forgiveness and move forward.

This is a favortie Eve because it is heartfelt and we have all experienced this selfish act by another friend. I gues there are friends and acquaintances, this one didnt sound like a True friend. It was nice to forgive Eve. I hope your feelings have recuperated it is so disappointing when someone you hold dear, astonishes you by showing lack of consideration. God bless you Eve...
