Forgiveness

Author Dana Redricks May 14, 2022 Forgiveness is placing ourselves in the other person's shoes and trying to understand why they did what they did. It's understanding that hurt people hurt other people, as we ourselves may often do. Forgiveness is forgiving others as God Yahweh has forgiven us. Forgiveness is letting go, and not letting others have the power over us. Forgiveness is releasing those who hurt us so we may have room to love. It's a part of healing in body, mind, and soul. Forgiveness should also be extended towards ourselves letting go of our regrets, and mistakes we have made in our past. Holding on to unforgiveness never helps, but I know for sure it only hurts. Unforgiveness not only hurts us, but the ones we love.
