Forgiveness

They showed they were sorry.
It's so true that forgiveness
is much easier to give
when one asks for it.

Interesting, Line...In fact, can forgiveness be granted if the other has not asked for it? That seems rather shallow and self-serving to me...Perhaps there is no forgiveness possible without the request being made...Wonderful food for thought here. Appreciated. ~ Gershon

I've often heard how victims of crime forgive their assailant in order to move on and free their heart from the burden of hate or the rut of feeling like a victim. I wish I knew how that huge feat is done.
