Forgive Me

You leave little sprinkles Of crystalized sugary words Everywhere you go Traces of sweetness Meant to tantalize Everyone the same portion Of the rich desert of your soul Little sugar sprinkles Just a little lick… Please forgive me I don’t appreciate Something that melts so fast With no staying power For my ravenous soul Forgive me For not fainting with delight When you and I both know That only the most decadent Oozing chocolaty delight Drizzled in rich caramel Prepared with me in mind Will satisfy my mind And melt in my mouth… Sweetness with staying power To be savored bit by wicked bit Delicious delectable dessert Of your admiration and delight Prepared with my taste in mind Forgive me If the little sprinkles You've sweetly left behind Don’t satiate my soul Don’t tempt my demanding tongue Save my share for others For this woman only dines On love’s full fantasy feast With the dessert not meant to share My very own chocolate ecstasy Enjoyed ONLY by me So forgive me… Forgive me If I pass Your little tiny treat Of sprinkled sugary words Down there at my feet Eileen Manassian Ghali

As I was reading this delectable poem my favorite dessert kept coming to mind. It is called a chocolate lava cake. A small cake with warm molten chocolate fudge in the reservoir of the cake. It melts in ones mouth and lingers forever. Oh, how I miss this cake. Oh, how I want want now. I so enjoyed your poem but now I have to find one of these cakes.

Yes, Mr Seal........It is! I say, shamelessly, that I have been spoiled by a very doting father.....spoiled rotten. It's a miracle that I'm still able to share anything at all....so, yes.......it's all about ME.....the world revolves around ME!!!!!!! And I will have my dessert when and how I want it...Oh....you do get me boiling at times, Mr Seal!

write a string of sweet poems. write about children in one, about music in another, heck write a poem about poems call it "Looking at Ourselves" or "Introspection"

I want candy. A nice Snickers bar...with Gelato. Oh, sorry, you kept mentioning sweets & chocolate. Anyway, the message here if straight forward & bold: "You are not an appetizer. You are a full dish to be savored...for life.

DRAKE?????? HOW...how are we on the same page???? I LOVE Snickers! This is weird! Gelato..Italian icecream? We have a lovely place here with that name.......BTW........I tolerate Ice cream, but what I need something sweet......It's got to be gooeeeeeyyyyyy chocolaty...Like...Chocolate fondant...The only exception being Cheesecake! Love that too! Your last line and a half????? Absolutely delicious!
