Forgive Me

I forgive you, brother, With a perfect peace inside, When we live for one another, There is joy as well as pride, Every second, every minute, Is the chance to make it right, If your heart is really in it, You can magnify the light, Or walk the straight and narrow line, And never fall from grace, For honesty is just a sign, Of setting your own pace, The promises we make today, May often seem outrageous, But when we choose the better way, Our virtue is contagious, To keep your word is not a lack, Of living life in full, Forgiveness is the kind of slack, That makes a person whole.

Bryan, your poem sets a fire inside of me. Not only to do well towards others but to also make the world a better place in my very next instant. The fact that you placed 9th out of 38 is an anamoly. This peom is beautiful dynamite. Making people better by reading it.

Thanks, Matt. Your words are "dynamite" to me. "A pal may say a part. A friend may give a heart. A brother bends in bitter ends that build a better start. A father lifts, immortal gifts, that tend to make us tall. A soul that stirs, love occurs, forgiveness most of all." --Your friend. Bryan
