Forgive

‘Forgive’ -

Peace will come,
The lord will punish,
Forgive and karma will show them -
Yet,
We are abandoned by both,
Justice doesn’t exist,
For those with black skin

Religion wasn’t a safe place -
For the oppressed,
God won’t save -
God doesn’t exist
He turned a blind eye to slavery,
‘Turned his cheek’ to the oppressors racism

No I won’t forgive,
And no I won’t forget,
That during times of great anguish -
God failed to protect,
His black children

God doesn’t exist -
But if he did,
I will never forgive -
Him
