Forever Young In Dreamland
Gettin old
dreamin about my first true love
Adonis at nineteen.
Dreamin about the wave in his hair
and comin apart at the seams.
Wearin an odd sock on each foot
not even the same color it seems.
But, dreamin about the men gone by
as the leaves fall fast from the trees.
Gettin old
and some visions dim
yet others come crisp in dreams.
Ah, remember Adonis
and coming apart at the seams.
