Forever Was a Lie That You Told To Pass the Time
We were young,
the sparkle still in our eyes.
You gave me your love,
and I gave you mine.
But the love you gave me
was full of lies.
I had given you my heart,
and you still hold the key,
but you took yours away from me.
When we were together my heart became whole,
But now you're gone and I feel like I'm missing
Part of my soul.
I'm still in love with you,
But you can't even see me.
You live your life,
And I live mine,
But something doesn't feel right.
I feel empty
I feel lost
I feel like I have only half a heart.
