Forever My Love

A diamond ring, upon my left finger

                           A token of love, to ever linger

                            Four decades, and six years 

                                 Have I been your wife
                        
                                Vows spoken as teens, 

                                    A promise for life  

                                 Your love lifted me, 

                                  Higher and higher

                              Them embers still burn!

                            From young loves raging fire

                        My ring on your finger still shines

                     In loves light, I love you, my darling

                               You're still my delight!

Aw, thank you so much sweet Anna!! Yep, 40 and six years, through smiles and tears, it's amazing that the years flew by us so quickly!! Time flies when you're having fun they say! Thank you so much Michael, when we married right after high school graduation, nobody thought it would last. We've been through so much together, the good, the incredibly difficult, and all that was in between! My dear FIL once told us early on, we will have hard times along with the good, but honor this vow, and see it through till the end, and we are so happy to have come through the wonderful times as well as the difficult. We went to the Grand Canyon for our 35th Anniversary, with the plateaus and the valleys it reminded us of our long life together, the constant flow of the Colorado River running through was such a great symbolization of our love, the constant flow running throughout, maybe that will be another poem :) We are so honored by this POTD :) Thank you!

:) <3 Thank you so much Lin, he is such a precious and priceless treasure to me. I first saw him when I was 14, and then through the ensuing years. I always thought he was adorable and sweet, and we started going together when I was 17. It was a whirlwind after that, and we were married three weeks after HS graduation, and I'm still smitten for him :D This is such a precious honor to both Jerry and I! Ah, thank you SO much Gershon! I sure do hope we can make it through to see those wonderful milestones of anniversaries as well :) Jerry told me as teenagers, "We're pretty young, so maybe we'll see our 50th, maybe even our 75th wedding anniversaries!"
