Forever In Your Eyes
From the very moment that I looked into your eyes,
Overcome with passion and a slave to love was I.
Roses reigned with Valentines; I danced beneath blue sky.
Effervescent, I was floating. Sweet joy had come to me!
Vows we made. The rings we gave each other symbolize
Everlasting faithfulness and deep sincerity.
Rich, so very rich in love, forever we would be!
In the many years to come, trials we would face.
Nonetheless, a love like ours time could not erase.
You are more than spouse and lover; you are my best friend.
On into our golden years, we’ll continue strong,
United, living romance even now until the end,
Recalling our first kisses when we hear our special song!
Even if the world should spin away, I’ll see inside your eyes
Years may steal our youth, but you will always be my prize.
Eternal adoration glows inside your eyes of blue
Showing me beyond this realm, my life goes on with you.
