Forever In Love

Forever in love First rendezvous, much later in life, as if I was closer to an unending wait, My first love and I was his wedded wife, now silver brightly shining in my plait .... Blush on cheeks and sparkle in eyes, I am young when back into memories, Smile on face to the wrinkles defied, Forever in love, my soulful reveries .... Embers lay deep with frozen wings, those giggles that were ripped apart, Some revived notes at heart strings, now songs of an utmost caring heart .... Aura of new sunrise, subtle melody awaits lovely twilight hues as I colour my plaits. Written Feb 11th, 2016 For contest- our year in love Sponsor- Olive

One ages gracefully, when our hearts are young and can reminisce our childhood days with gladness. "Forever in love, my soul reveries" ... may you keep this mindset with you always. Beautifully expressed.

Congrat. A grande amore e un grande amore...Wonderful poetry! I liked especially the aura you refers (of new sunrise) and I also remember the sense of even a poor little branch transfigured in the eyes of lovers (Sthendal) or the meaning of Walter Benjamin and Adorno...
