Forever In Love
Forever in love
First rendezvous, much later in life,
as if I was closer to an unending wait,
My first love and I was his wedded wife,
now silver brightly shining in my plait ....
Blush on cheeks and sparkle in eyes,
I am young when back into memories,
Smile on face to the wrinkles defied,
Forever in love, my soulful reveries ....
Embers lay deep with frozen wings,
those giggles that were ripped apart,
Some revived notes at heart strings,
now songs of an utmost caring heart ....
Aura of new sunrise, subtle melody awaits
lovely twilight hues as I colour my plaits.
