Forced Change
Shivers sent up spine.
Book, read a thousand times
thundered through deaf ears.
Whip's swoosh sings in harmony.
Words break through foam
waves crash, sentences press
imprints in wrinkled
blood soaked flesh.
Change will be forced upon us.
