Forced Change

Shivers sent up spine. Book, read a thousand times thundered through deaf ears. Whip's swoosh sings in harmony. Words break through foam waves crash, sentences press imprints in wrinkled blood soaked flesh. Change will be forced upon us. *** June 10, 2017 Copyright © Darren White

The grim topic of being forced is well written here. I think your use of italics for movement is perfect and the use of waves an excellent suggestion of what is happening. This is a very intense, very good poem! Hugs to you, my friend <3

It speaks in metaphors only, so if you understand what it is about, that is a compliment to me :) Thank you <3
