Notes About The Poem

For You, My God

For You, my God The creator of my hope The maker of my dreams The builder of my belief You pierce through the pain Freeing the sorrow and shame Reminding grace it brings a chance To reach out and take your hand As you lead me to the promised land For You, my God I will give my heart and soul The love that lives in my thoughts Feelings that awaken from silence Pouring joy from the colorful hues Of kindness, tenderness, purity The light that reflects all my wonder As I praise the One who gave me more Love than I could ever express With the mere kindness that lives Inside my quest for His gifts For You, my God The One who lifts my heart Inspires my mind to grow in hope My soul to believe in the mercy, the chance To become the woman He has blessed With a joy felt only through Him, Through His gifts of insight, uplifting Arousing dreams and supporting the belief That He is always there, always aware When I need Him to show me the where, the how The way to give back with a sincerity That shares the gentle warmth of His spirit The love that is His gift to me - forever!

Such a comforting feeling I receive when reading of your faith and the path you choose to accept in this life, Gina. God's blessings upon you, eternally, Bill

Wow! Christ love and Divine Presence throughout this work. You definitely had help with this one -- showing us how a devout relationship with God guides and prospers us in ways beyond simple beauty. His Grace and Love have no limits. Joe.
