For Tonight

"Turning circles around your heart"~
Dance off-feet and head pulled by tides,
Far still my rippling face's sight—
And overwhelming motions spread

I yearn to crash on your bosom—
"Turning circles around your heart"~
So each time close is the time right—
"It's closer than my hands have been"~

Now "do we break another rule"~
With fog combining our two stones.
"It's closer than my hands have been"~
My unfeigned angst digs in me sharp

So "hello, darkness, my old friend"~
Switch the light for me at dusk, while
In my looking glass, a way of
"Turning circles around your heart"~

Songs:
"Turning circles around your heart" Turning Circles, Sally Dworsky
"It's closer than my hands have been" Jealous, Labrinth
"Do we break another rule" Hold On To The Nights, Richard Marx
"Hello, darkness, my old friend" The Sound Of Silence, Disturbed

It sounds like a cover was done of the Sound of Silence written by Simon or Garfunkel. that is such a cool song. I did not know the other lines you mentioned but they went really well together, Paige. Great job for the contest

Ah you did it dear Paige and youve nailed it! I love it! Jealous is one of my fave songs too, and i love how your lines flow with such depth in a soul stirring manner. So heartfelt! And the refrain youv used is brilliant too. I especially love the line “ I yearn to crash on your bosom—“ how touching is that and i can resonate. Youv used all the titles very well in this. Best wishes for the contest. I know youll do well
