For the Love of Leigh

we are standing beneath a large marquee
to hear arrogant words of some marquis
a horrible man i just hate to see.
However, my obstinate girlfriend , she
insisted we leave our boat at the quay
to attend this function. It was her plea.
I don't understand my fiancé Leigh,
but doing whatever she wants is key!
I hope afterwards they'll at least serve brie.

I learned something I didn't know about rhyme today, thank you my poet friend. Great entry and well written, Andrea. A poet friend in Texas, Bill

I love brie. I would not care who the speaker is, so long I get what I want.
