For one who was my first most precious love, who drifted into my life like fresh snow, he’s still the guy that my impressions of remain like snow untrod upon although it was late summer when he stirred in me such dulcet longings. Like a butterfly, my heart went dancing when we kissed, and he - along with me - soared into velvet sky. With myriad stars, the moon was blooming. It peeked down at us in our passion’s play. My love’s touch – soft cashmere - was consuming. With headiness, we savored love’s parfait when sun slid down and hid behind a hill. That young man’s sweetness I remember still.

This is just beyond beautiful! Your sonnet is stunning sweet andrea! A trophy worthy one! As you are also the queen of sonnets! I really love the lines “ With myriad stars, the moon was blooming. It peeked down at us in our passion’s play” the imagery there! Gosh! This is a fave for me

Ah the rush of that first love Andrea - A sweet, romantic and passionate sonnet, ballad material. Thanks for sharing. I guess one always remembers their first - Wow - 20 poems about him - he was something special and at least he tracked you down, that's a huge plus. But things happen for a reason and people come into a person's sometimes ever so briefly and enrich each other. A Joyous, Happy and peaceful Christmas to you and your family, the video I just posted wishes everyone also. Hugs Maria

It was several years ago that I fell madly, passionately in love with someone, and somehow after reading this piece, my quieted past sent a shock or two to my core, and I was briefly reminded of how it felt -- to experience bliss and pain in both extremes. I long to feel that way again, yet I am also content with the safe comfort of solitude that I have now. Haha! I really like this - favorited!

Andrea, the passion expression feels sincere and reflects the kind of excitement men hope we can generate. It certainly takes us to a funny part of life we take so seriously! Smiles.

Yes, it is such a new experience. I think that's why it stays with us. Especially for a girl who only slept with one guy, the one she is married to! it's the "feelings" that one can never bring back.

Your love shines through Andrea with someone who meant so much to you and arose something in you to feel those passionate feelings toward this special boyfriend of yours. The memories you both shared live in your heart. I wonder if he stills remembers you and feels the same way. I am sure he does. I am sending you Soup Mail I have some questions for you regarding lifetime membership. Later on tonight I will send soup Mail. I am using the snow blower to remove all the snow we got. Hugs...

Wow Andrea I'm so sad in hindsight it didn't work out for you. It sounds like he felt the same toward you as you felt toward him. Just wondering why it never worked out??? for you and him.

Thanks. Yes. This guy has at least 20 poems now written on him. I am sure he remembers me. I lost touch with him and married 3 years later. I got a phone call when I had my first baby. He had tracked me down at last. It was so bittersweet.
