For a While

We are on this earth for a short while the years go faster than we can imagine as we age we look back on the past say to ourselves where did time go we get old before we realize we look at people and say do we look that old maybe we just stay young it is all in the matter of mind we do not want to reach old age we want to stay in shape but time does not stand still it comes down to the battle of will getting past the aches and pains in what is called... the golden years.

No we don't realize we are getting older, just others get older how can we until one. day realization will sink in and we have to cope, as nope I will never give in unless God calls me. Am I ready for this, I hope God gives me the strength to face the inevitable. Wise poem. blessings hugs Jennifer. Blessings and hugs Jennifer.

Poignant words that make us take stock Phyllis. Sad times but ever more important that we shouldn't waste them.

Oh my, what a sad loss of a gem of a lady. I am only hearing of this just now and share my condolences with those family/friends might read. I shall miss the crafts, poetry and little insights we shared. My heart goes out to all. RIP Karen. Thank you Phyllis your words are sobering as to how soon we'll leave our place here. Fleeting moments lent, to make a mark. Thanks for sharing and go easy...
