Footsteps
Follow me as I walk into the open.
Take the footsteps that I take.
But be very, very careful.
My feet will lead me to chilly mountains.
Caps peaked with snowy drift.
My feet will lead me to jungles.
Vast, huge and uncivilized.
My feet will lead me to rivers.
Filled with biting piranhas that build the bridge across.
My feet will lead me through caves.
Piercing stalagmites from cavebottom.
My feet will lead me to cities.
Taxis and subways running over.
My feet will lead me to tundra.
Wolves howling from cold.
My feet will lead me to deserts.
Oases miles upon miles away.
My feet will lead me to volcanoes.
Bubbling with my love for you.
