Foolish
I often find myself
wishing you were here
Hoping you pop up before me with
a fairly odd parent's fairy poof
Smoke dispersing
Your smile emerging
from it's sparkling mist
How foolish of me to believe
in the fiction that is your return
So for now...I'll slip into the silence
Let my yearning heart burn
