Fooling the Fool

Don't try me, I will see through, If you cross that line, I will play the fool, I'll make you believe you've got the upperhand, I'll do it on purpose to see your true man, If I think for a second your looking down on me, I will study you dude, and your routine, I will let you believe for a time I'm not onto you, To watch your course of action, the next step that you choose, It's far from deceiving, I guard my heart well, I'll be damned if you think your gonna put me through hell, So when I laugh n make jokes, and your think everything's ok, Or when I make light of the conversation and smile and walk away, I don't mind sharing my heart because I'm confident in me, I don't need your validation, I'm already set free, So unless you know yourself and I see your intentions are good, You'll only be getting half of me, are we understood?

Rumi said people of this world dont look at themselves, so they blame each other.... I think everyone ia guilty of what you suggest...Men so much more....

It was one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had, and when I left it was heartwrenching...you had to be disiplined, in some incidences trained to show no emotion, not all the time but in some circumstances you had no choice...it didn't make me hard hearted, but it built my tolerance...I'm really just a big hearted marshmallow underneath lol :)

Yes, I know. ..but I'm just one of those people that i try to understand why...I'm a digger, lol it's just who I am, I don't think it's a bad thing, for the simple fact that it has changed me to see people in a different light, understanding beneath the surface has helped me also to forgive n love on deeper levels not many want to dive into...this has also helped me to see myself...one hand feeds the other type of thing...working in a psych hospital for ten yrs has taught me so much, it was tough, but you had to be..but it also gave me a deeper sense of compassion

And if they get mad or offended and leave..I know what to pray for them,,,I believe people change on a constant basis and I never lose faith that that they can....it's not only about guarding my own heart...I genuinely care, even when someone is foolish or they think they're fooling me..

I disagree...unfortunately we run into ppl who are ignorant to their own behavior as to how they treat others, especially when your single n dating...which is really the basis of what I'm writing about...we all have our moments or seasons of foolishness in general, and sometimes when you see the good with the bad n you really genuinely care, you want to understand why and take the time to see...God says test the spirits..I have always done this when I come up against this type of thing,,,I watch, I learn, and then i honestly tell them out of love what I see,
