FONDEST MEMORY
I cherish role playing with delight
as a caring mother, called as home's light
in a never-to-be-forgotten joyous sight
as a child in my dramatic actress-plight!
Not to be buried in oblivion was that wondrous zest
when my doll I would kiss, midst warm love, sweetest
like nursing a babe --- feeling so blest
shielding a very precious treasure against pest!
I was then seven years of age with a parent role
to manifest Mama's best dutiful heart as a goal
thrilled for doing my best with all my might and soul
even winning an award that marked achievement-whole!
Grateful* to God for my parents I surely miss
constantly I experience serene bliss
for fondest memory from mind and heart's abyss
now as a Mom in an Orphanage with kids, treating each one as Brod and Sis!
*1Thessalonians 5:18 KJV: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
