Fly On the Wall
Fly sat on a wall, evening
hungry and thirsty it was
Wet sugar was near is a dish
It thought;
“If I can fly down and taste
just enough of that sugar.
All the hunger, all the thirst
will be off-loaded.
My limbs I’ll lick long
My wings too shall be store”
It did it.
Stuck the fly was -limbs, wings
It struggled and wept
End times came hugging
