Fly On My Brother, Fly On

I will miss your
presence, in
this poetic
community!
Your pen was
one of a kind.
Everything you
wrote had your
poetic flare
in it, through
and through.
You had a
magnetic
personality.
It shined on
Soupville Lane
bold and bright!
You had a great
sense of humor
as well, I referred
to you as one of
    the soup
   comedians.
You made fellow
soupers feel like
      family.
I will truly miss you,
  RIP, go get your
  new wings and
Fly on my brother
        fly on!

Very nice Lexi, still hard to believe, but I read his poems from time to time and it's like he's still here, although he's not, glad he left his legacy of poems!

Thank you so much, John. His presence and poetry meant a lot to us on the soup. You are so fortunate that you got to actually meet the man behind the Avatar and poem. I wish I had met him too. But in a way I did, through his poems and comments. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your day:-) Alexis

What a powerful force of encouragement WW was to so many here. I have been missing him and now I know why his endearing presence has been taken from us. Thank you for this heartfelt poem, Alexis, it's a marvelous tribute to a marvelous man. RIP, Wingster.
