influenza's sting lays a person low, wiped out.... nothing compared to COVID

M.L., COVID hit my husband and me right at 6 months after we had our last vaccination and it lasted a whole month but we were not hospitalized. My husband was given fluids in the doctor's office twice because he had pneumonia and was dehydrated. Thanks for the visit. Sara

I evade the flu vaccination. Somehow I rarely get a hint of a flu. But I suffer a lot from sore throats. No vaccines there.

Victor, Those sore throats are not any fun and some of them can be deadly if not properly treated. I don't like getting vaccinations but I do it so I don't get really sick but of course there can be a strain of the flu out there that is not in the vaccine and that is not a good thing. I had my flu vaccination yesterday. Didn't feel great afterwards. I'm double jabbed and now awaiting my booster for Covid. I've not had Covid but have had full blown flu twice in my life and never want to go there again. I couldn't move. That's all the bad bits out the way; now the good bits: I really liked your senryu Sara :) Cheers - Gary

Why, thank you, Gary. I appreciate the visit. Glad that you have not had COVID. The flu is not fun but they have meds now to help with it if you go to the doctor in time and the vaccination reduces the chances of getting it and makes it lighter if you do happen to get it.
