Flowers Brighten Forever
Bouquets bring my heart great joy.
And brightens every natural day.
No matter what my mood may be
Uplifting comes from flowers.
Blooms unfolding anticipate.
Life, beautiful life, fragrantly flowing
Felt deep within their inner parts
Comes to beautify, mystifying.
Creation wrought its heavenly gifts.
Prepared to feed and flourish.
Among the thistles, briers and brambles,
Every thorn holds splendor near.
A rose. A lily. A daffodil.
Banquets for man and beast,
There, hummingbirds and honeybees
Sip deeply for the sweetest nectar.
Bountiful life, enchanting time,
Decorating mountains, hills, and dales.
Natural bouquets engender hearts.
Like a wedding interlude,
Blossoms opening, cheering –
Casual walks on a sunlit day
Grows lovelier at the sight.
Flowers call the soul to rest.
And decorate life’s atrium.
There is no greater beauty.
Brightening forever.
Than life, where there are flowers.
