Flowers
You might like your Iris flowers
You know she is very old
You might like your many roses
Signifying mid'le of the road
Most would chose pansies
For the youth in them in code
We could stamp out all chamomiles
If I could I'd kill a load
I prefer in the spring lilacs
Practically never have to hoe'd
Then come the lovely peonies
They are a delight to behold
Though you might think I like lilies
I would only till they're sold
I prefer the mysterious orchid
And a man with which to hold
