Flowers

All around us are flowers, varied.
Beautiful in tinge and tone.
Combined, they create a marvelous show,
Dazzling the eyes and pleasing all senses.
Earth is never left morose in shades of grey.
Fancifully spreading colors on a wide palette,
God has created an assortment of blooms.
Honeyed they are with a heavenly aroma.
Imaging them into different forms,
Judiciously God has juxtaposed them with a mix of hues.
Kaleidoscopic they thus remain,
Lifting and levitating us to euphoria,
Mesmerizing and hypnotizing us.
Nature’s beautiful bonanza gifted by God!
Oeuvre of the skilled craftsman,
Plethora of paradigms of inimitable art,
Quaintly adorning and decorating,
Radiating cheer and joy in us,
Spectrum of colors that sway and dance,
Tickling our senses and taking us to fairy lands.
Umpteen are the flowers that surround us.
Verbena, in bunches of pink, white or purple
Water lilies of pastel, white and lavender shades
Xanthoceras in gorgeous yellow or white clusters
You and I can only be breathless spectators,
Zombies inebriated in beauty and loveliness.

I like this one which had to be a little difficult to write. You have created a very good flow using all of the alphabet. Flowers do make the earth such a beautiful place. God is good in that He created the flowers for man then made humankind so that they could enjoy them. Thanks for sharing your talent with us and for dropping by my page. Sara K

Dear Valsa, I must say that this is quite remarkable. Flowers, much like music, have the power to soothe the spirit and banish the negativity that might be there. You did an excellent job of conveying the beauty of your poem by using such great imagery and diction that is of the highest caliber. BOL with the contest.

Also only the first letter in each line should be bold?

Flowers are lovely creation of God, When you look at them closely, all the muse starts flowing. Nicely penned. I thought there should not be any blank lines in the poem>

Wow your abcedarian flows just beautifully and is so well written . You’ve nailed this form: seems like you have experience in doing this form. I really love the opening line, so lyrical and drew me right in and how you’ve woven such descriptive lines is so captivating, the honeyed tones and aromatic scents of nature and Gods creations so eloquently delivered: “ You and I can only be breathless spectators,” this line really stood out for me! One of the best abcedarians ive read, Will do very wel
