Flower and Rose
Oh, the moonlight fades from flower and rose,
the dawn is coming in a few hours;
all the flowers are lifting up their heads,
seems the flowers are standing on their toes.
With sun peaking this is no time for repose,
but peacefully the rose waits with dignity;
she is full of tranquility and quite ethereal,
oh, some flowers have dreamt of wild meadows.
Now, it is time to take off your garden throws,
I whisper to the flowers that call my garden home;
and they sway and dance with joy for a new day,
the beauty at dawn makes me want to compose.
To write poems in rhyme and all sorts of prose,
of roses and roses and flowers and flowers;
where my words fall onto white to ever be froze.
