Florence Nightingale

Social reformist Florence Nightingale -
her many good deeds make for a fascinating tale.
Not only a nurse was she content to be.
An innovative statistician was she.

Andrea, thanks for this one. She was really something and your tribute helps reveal more of her story. I do like the first two words as being so very descriptive. They could almost get lost to the casual reader. Smiles!!!

Once again, Andrea, you encapsulate a book full of knowledge and/or wisdom in a few short lines of poetic mastery. Thanks for providing me (and others) so much more to think about. Happy Friday, Terrell

Florence deserves your fitting poem. I especially like her views on understanding the steps to take for better health.

Quite a woman. Unlike Wonder Woman, a real warrior heroine. One of the times I got deeply misty-eyed was when Mother Theresa died.
