You say your feet hurt? So, how're your hands? --They're fine That's right... They're fine ~ Flip the switch You say work is demanding? So, how's the pay? --Pretty good That's right... Ppretty good ~ Flip the switch You say your kids don't call enough? Do they text every day? --Multiple times. How wonderful Multiple times a day... That's wonderful You're not disabled; you're healthy and able You've so much food, leftovers fill your table You've got adorable kids and a wonderful wife You've so much to be thankful for in life When to complain, you get the itch ~ Flip the switch

It is so true to look at your blessings and what you have, (half full glass and all that), great poem! (Soupmail - which, by accident, actually relates to this topic!)

Hi Gershon, I like the message in this poem. At end of the day , does do "us" any good? So why complain in the first place. Besides most of the things we complain is "small" compared to things you mentioned in your poem. Excellent job:-) Alexis

Great point, Alexis! When we step back and put our complaints in perspective, we realize how petty we can be in the grand scheme of things. Better to appreciate what we've got and be happy for what others achieve! :) gw
