Flight Plan
Familiar faces lie far apart,
bless, dear Jesus, her hopeful heart.
Divorce done, guardianship ground out;
two fam’lies expect her routine route.
Long lonely flights yet lie ahead,
tearful times and unknown dark dread.
Her world woven with go and come strings;
Gracious God, You work good in all things.
Complex childhood – how will she cope?
God alone holds her highest hope.
