Flavor of You *of the Dark Gift*
Glistening,
the color of a rose,
wet and alive.
It courses through me.
Aching bodies;
Nails rake across alabaster flesh,
opening doors to a higher state.
Feeling you become me.
Fire turns to ice...
In the space of a single heartbeat.
~Sate my hunger, child, do what others cannot~
With your flavor like eternity;
Your scent of a life stolen.
Foolish it seems,
taking from you what I desire
for I know I can never reclaim it.
No matter.
