Fitting

Beat me down With that familiar sound Of misinformation missed Of god and holy bliss Of moments good and bad and people Carry out all that life’s about And make it stick like cement to the roof of your mouth Just forget the only thing that means anything Anything Anything Just forget the only thing that means anything Just forget me please A constant dream I have With the closing of my eyes Is the moon defeating the sun in an arms race Is the loss of my sanity into dead space It disappearing into you Is the spreading of my thighs Show me what I’m missing Hand me all you’ve got Tie me up and leave me To suffer kindly with my thoughts And just forget the only thing that means anything Anything Anything Just forget the only thing that means anything Just forget me
