Oh how I’m wishing that I were fishing!
I’d love to see the swishing that I’ve been missing.

fish!

Hungry! I am getting wolfish for a pescatarian dish!
Oh, how I wish I could catch a fish!

Now if I had attempted writing something like this I would have had to construct a poem around the image of a piece of broken pram or a tadpole. That’s about the sum of everything I have ever caught in a local canal. :) The Long and Winding Rod has never been me but I loved your poem.
