Nice one Linda. You have rightly earned your ‘plaice’ as “The Codmother” of fish poetry. Now if I had attempted writing something like this I would have had to construct a poem around the image of a piece of broken pram or a tadpole. That’s about the sum of everything I have ever caught in a local canal. :) The Long and Winding Rod has never been me but I loved your poem. Cheers - Gary

I mean, how hard is it to catch a fish. The things I can do with a loaf of bread and a fish. Mind you, it is fish Friday.

When I was a little girl, my papa told me to catch a fish, I needed to think like a fish. Hmmm...I'm a good fisherman. What does that say about me? LOL. Yes, fish Friday - yay! Thanks for reading Paul. hugs :)
