First Date

Glennie went excitedly dating Ted
Leaving her chaperon she went ahead
Wearing nice shoes kept for years
But torn out like rotten gears
So, she’d her first date and dance barefooted

Lesson: Never wear again a pair of shoes kept/unused for 1-3 years.

This poem is a fiction but so similar to what happened to me last Oct. 13. I felt sorry for myself for this experience however it sounds funny sometimes to me and to my friends to whome I've relayed the story. Was so grateful that nobody took photo of me ha ha ha.
