Fireworks and Fireflies The sounds and smells of war jubilation at its end, blended irony of history. Acrid stench of gunpowder choking sound of taps hover over hallowed ground. Gallantry’s entombed silenced in their duty whisper from the past. John G. Lawless 7/2/2016

Having served in the military I have a deep regard for those who served and for those now in service to our nation. I still cannot hear Taps played without freezing still.
