Finally They Notice

Death’s waves pushed me Further and further to The bottom of the black ocean. Stopping sound and breath, But allowing the tears that Stained my face; and The blood that stained My forearms. And everyone else stood Above me and watched They watched as I sunk All the way to the bottom But it was only until I reached the bottom Of Death’s ocean did Everyone scream, and cry, and curse Because only then did they realise Just how close I was.
