Finally Decided To Give It Up

Cute baby clothes I say.
Weird that you have ten thousand blue things and only one pink item.
I always wanted a girl, she said.
Kept that onesie around for years, hoping.
Twenty-eight years of marriage, but now
I have finally decided to give it up.
Her eight boys laughed.
They were 15, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 25.

Caren, I think this poem could adapt to change, by adopting the ellusive onesy wearer. One of each btw. -Richard

It should that is for sure. In Victorian times blue was a girls' color and pink was a boy's color. I think they should both be girl and boy colors; not sure when we decided on absolutism about baby clothes.
