When the Reaper comes calling at your door
As you're struggling with chest pains on the floor
And the angst of helplessness strikes your core
That's when you realize you could have loved more

The last line in this one leaves the reader with something to take away from the poem and ponder about. Best wishes in the contest. Thank you for your well wishes with my book. I really appreciate your encouragement. Karen
