Final Evening
C-herish the final evening,
E-ight more nights to go;
L-et December twenty-second
Y-earn to keep your faith aglow.
O-nce the one final evening
C-omes December thirty-first;
H-appy new year will dawn,
A-s the fireworks will burst.
V-iew of the last shadow opens the door for fresh blessing;
E-agerly welcome the first morn after the final evening.
