Filling Voids

One more cigarette she tells herself,
one more beer to get her though,
but she falls and she’ll drink more,
the absence of you
crawls awake, into her mindset
the worries of few
could you let her, ever mend herself
could you ever see it through?
'Cause she’ll push and she’ll pull
'till the other is all used
and he’ll leave her, just believe her
'cause what else is there to do?
