If we infuse love into our children's heart And teach them respect for all nature and life Soon many more things for peace we would achieve That would end humanity's destructive strife! © Demetrios Trifiatis 10 July 2019 * I would like to thank my few good friends for their support for without them a POTD wouldn't be possible as it wouldn't be possible without the right judgment of PS's officials.

I had the chance in my long life to direct schools from kindergarten, primary, secondary and taught at university and I agree with you! Our children are our future and I totally agree with your beautifully expressed Poem. Teaching by example instills a way of life that our children won't depart from. First of all let me congratulate you my dearest Demetrios on a very inspiring poem, which deserves the honor of POTD. We all have a relationship with nature. For some it runs deeper than others but our planet would really benefit from having more people respect and love it. We should make it a practice to teach our children to respect nature and care for the environment. As you put it 'it would end humanity's destructive strife'. Well done....Maria xxx
