** This video is the unfinished instrumental tracks for my upcoming CD single called "Filipina Girl", set for release on October 15 this year. There will be another guitar track added, along with a lead vocal, background vocals, and sax or synth solo tracks. The ending is just a repeating of the chorus as it will eventually be a fade-out. When the song is finished I will be posting a 13-second snippet, up until the time of release. I have played all the instruments so far, wrote the music and lyrics, and did the production and engineering to this point. I'm sorry there is no melody here, but I am not allowed to share anything else at this time. My web site is bahku.com. Thanks! **

(Verse 1) How did I find you Half a world away? Must be divine intervention Or maybe just my luckiest day An internet messenger Brought me your smile And made my dead heart beat again (Verse 2) I thought romance was obsolete And true love passe' I guess heartache and time Bore a cynical mind About love, western women And the games that they play I did my time with the modern kind The bombshell blonde mystique And their checklist of needs to be filled It's so hard to believe I could find my reprieve In those eyes, dark as night Oh please, my heart be still (Chorus) I can't believe she's here to stay I'm so in love with my pinay My filipina girl She's lovely dark in every way But she's the sunshine in my day My filipina girl (Break - Solo Section) (Verse 3) Oh it's so divine That your heart's just like mine Ever hoping there's one meant for you Guess it's true what they say Somehow love finds a way Cuz love's the blessed miracle That brought me here to you (Chorus) I can't believe she's here to stay I'm so in love with my pinay My filipina girl She's lovely dark in every way But she's the sunshine in my day My filipina girl (Alt Chorus) Her heart's my home and there I'll stay You'll never find me far away My filipina girl Gonna take my girl and get away Share a towel on the beach at Boracay My filipina girl F-I-L-I-P-I-N-A I spell beautiful that way My filipina girl F-I-L-I-P-I-N-A I love that faux naivete' My filipina girl I love my P-I-N-A-Y (filipina girl) You know I'll never say goodbye (filipina girl) I can't believe she's here to stay (filipina girl) She's the sunshine in my day (filipina girl) F-I-L-I-P-I-N-A (filipina girl) F-I-L-I-P-I-N-A (filipina girl) (Repeat Out Ad Nauseum) Copyright 2012 Tsahaylu Music - ASCAP

I just remembered Prince did a song called Cinnamon Girl, this kinda reminds me of that one, not bad comparison, in good company.

Ha - yes, in VERY good company! And there are some similarities to that song! LOVE Prince's work - both he, Michael Jackson were born the same year as I, (1958), and both dead now due to abuse of the same substances I abused, but I'm still here, (though I shouldn't be)! Madonna was born in '58 as well ... just ironic. I'm a huge MJ fan as well ... not a big Madonna fan, but I do love some of her songs.

Great job with the music, my you are one talented man! If the lyrics are a true picture of your life now, glad you found love. My wife is from Argentina, nothing like an exotic woman, way better than modern women. Look forward to the single. Hey I'm serious if you like any of my lyrics go ahead and do the music!

Thank you so much, John, and I agree about exotic women! Thank you for the invite - I may take you up on that eventually, and I would work with you closely, as far as putting your words to music ... I do love your work!
