Whirling memories as dream-like pebbles
On a beach or in my pockets, in my hands
Opening and closing, opening and closing
Holding on tight, knowing them elusive
Vortex of films and fragments, tearing
my brain. Filaments of partial awareness
Hum hum of distant voices closing fastly in
Overwhelming all surrounding invasive
Windstorm of emotions, feelings, unfinished
thoughts. Softly spoken incomprehensible
sounds. Consciousness slowly returning
Human hand in mine, warm and comforting.
