FIGHTING TYRANNY

When oppressed by a cruel and merciless government, when we no longer feel free there are some things we need to do to fight this tyranny: First we need to think of all our ancestors and relatives who fought in all our wars… Who fought and died so tyranny would never reach our shores. But now that it has reached us…we must not let it bring us to our knees We must do everything we can to fight these tyrants…and reign in their reign of tyranny. Ee need to use our brains to search for the truth… We need to question every who, what, when, where and why. We need to remember no matter how many times a lie is repeated…It will always be a lie. We need to do our own research…we need to stop books from being banned. We need to read as many books, contrasting ideas, and opinions as we can. We need to learn from other countries where tyranny existed and still exists. We need to stop tyrants from re-writing our history…giving it their own self-serving twist. We must never blindly obey a tyrant…never let them steal our innocence. We must never conform or condone their hatred, their prejudice…their violence. We must stand up…protest, march, resist, be as vocal as can be. It’s up to us to ensure the ideals of peace and freedom for EVERYONE, are not buried…to be forgotten in tyranny We need to be courageous…a tyrant counts on our fear so our protests and our causes we will drop. We need to remember courage is what keeps us going when fear tells us to stop. We must remember fighting tyranny is never easy…once it has landed on our shore but freedom from tyranny for EVERYONE…is always worth fighting for. Perhaps the most important thing we need to do…as we try to make things right… Is not to become the kind of tyrants…we are trying so desperately to fight.
